Who runs this site
My name is Jeroen Covemaeker, and I'm a web designer from Flanders, Belgium. I hold a degree in civil engineering (burgerlijk ingenieur) from Ghent University, obtained in 2000, and I've been building calculator and information websites since 2005. I build and maintain a small number of calculator websites, including this one, focused on giving people a quick, accurate way to work out percentage change.
How this calculator is kept accurate
Every formula on this site (percentage change, percentage difference, CAGR, and the rest) is documented on its own page alongside a worked example, so you can check the calculation yourself rather than just trusting a black-box result. With an engineering background, I double-check the math on every calculator myself before it goes live. If you ever spot a calculation that looks wrong, please contact me directly using the details below — I review and correct reported issues myself.
